Behind Gabus81
Hi, I’m Gabriela — the hands, heart, and messy denim threads behind Gabus81.
I make denim tote bags, crossbody bags and smaller accessories from reclaimed jeans, here in the UK.
I love combining old jeans with different fabrics and leather. I don’t work from patterns — I start with an idea and work things out as I sew, changing little details along the way.
That’s my favourite part. Putting the pieces together, trying a different combination and watching a bag slowly take shape.
